Waterscapes LLC is a 14 year old Northwest company specializing in water features of natural stone to include Waterfalls, Ponds, Pondless waterfall Streams & Waterwalls of stone, metal & glass. Filtrific advanced water feature system
Waterscapes has installed exterior ponds ranging from 500 gal to 85,000gal (Koi pond) to a 1.5 ton waterjet cut glass indoor waterfeature.
Waterscapes work with each client for design development on a personal one on one basis from rough design ideas to completion. There by assuring complete client satisfaction from start to finish.
Woody Morris incorporated Waterscapes in 1997.
Motivated by his passion for design and his background in art & design, Woody wanted to combine his talents with a medium that was both satisfied and brought a TOUCH OF NATURE to his clients. With his love for water & stone this was a perfect match.
He was able to work with world renown glass artist Dale Chihuly in the design & installation of his famous indoor lap pool.
While working as head of the in-ground swimming pool division for a Seattle based spa and swimming pool company he was able to use his design ability to design a Street of Dreams swimming pool which won a APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals) Gold medal design award for excellence.
He has been participating in Northwest Flower & Gardens show since 1999. Winning awards for his gardens in 2000, 2001, 2002. 2003 brought the beginning of waterscapes waterwalls which Woody designs and builds in his studio located in Freeland, WA. His studio is on scenic Whidbey Island.
With over 125 in-ground swimming pools installed to his credit and over 18 years in the waterfeature business. Woody brings design, knowledge and technical experience to his clients.
Waterscapes is a custom design build hands on company with over 18 years experience in the waterfeature business. We are in the business to create a reputation for Quality workmanship and creativity.

Johnathan and Jandellyn Ward (Winfield Designs) will be one of our "Featured Artists" in April. They will have a special showing of metal art. Our theme is "Textured Spring". We will have a variety of NEW work on display both wall art and 3D art. We will be focusing on spring, with a little bit of metal flare...

Pat Brookes: Arylics & Watercolors
Pat Brookes will be one of our "Featured Artists" for the month of April. Pat will
be showing oil and acrylic plein air paintings of Whidbey and Eastern
Washington. The new paintings feature The Crockett barn, Holmes Harbor, Useless
Bay, ...The Hay barn, and the marsh view of Useless Bay.
Pat is one of the artists shown painting plein air at Double Bluff on the
Whidbey Camano Island web site and is know for her series The Bluffs of Whidbey
and Pears series.

This show features ods thrive in the deep canyons. The area was a source of Tanbark Oak, used for tanning leather, that was harvested here and shipped out from one of the many small coves along the coast. Eight varieties of oak are found here, including the very picturesque Coastal Live Oaks that are featured in these paintings. March: Featured Artist

Whidbey Art Gallery presents Gardens & Flowers
Whidbey Art Gallery, in Langley, Washington, invites you to come in out of the cold to enjoy the colorful warmth of its exhibit: Gardens & Flowers. Nine of the gallery’s 28 members contributed to this show: Nancy Anderson, Judy Nyerges, Moe Jerome, Barbara Mearing, Sue Owen, Jandellyn Ward, Ron Ward, Linda Schwarz and Pat Brookes.
The show opens February 4 in time for the “First Saturday Artwalk” from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Whidbey Art Gallery is located at 220 2nd Street.

Encaustic Art: Explore, Experience, Embrace!

Join Whidbey Art Gallery member Ron Ward for an introduction to encaustic painting Friday December 9, 2011 at 11 am at the Freeland Library. Ron, an encaustic painter and a sculptor, is excited to be able to share some of the things he has learned as he explores encaustics. This is a hands on demonstration where you will be able to experiment with enacustic painting. Roll up your sleeves, join the fun, and bring your questions.
Ron has been a member of the Artists Cooperative for several years. You can view Ron's encaustic paintings and his bronze sculpture at the Whidbey Art Gallery. During December 2011, you can view a selection of his encaustic paintings at the Freeland Library. The library is located at 5495 Harbor Avenue, Freeland Washington.
